Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee all HR operations for approximately 200 employees. This role supervises an HR Assistant and is responsible for payroll processing through Paylocity, compliance, employee relations, and overall HR strategy to support organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and mentor the HR Assistant, ensuring efficient HR operations.
Manage and process payroll using Paylocity with accuracy and compliance.
Administer employee benefits and maintain related records.
Serve as the primary contact for employee relations and HR policy guidance.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
Lead recruitment, on boarding, and retention efforts for all departments.
Support performance management, coaching, and disciplinary processes.
Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and handbooks.
Generate HR reports and metrics to inform leadership decisions.
Drive HR initiatives that promote engagement, culture, and organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
HR certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) preferred.
Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
Proficiency with Paylocity or similar HRIS/payroll systems.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
